Katherine Teed Arthur is a Toronto-based actor, media designer, and recent graduate of The New School for Drama. Acting credits include: Ursa Minor, Lysistrata, Melancholy Play, 4.48 Psychosis, Orestes, The Winter’s Tale, Midsummer Night’s Dream. As a designer, recent credits include: All The Times I Did Not See Potsdam (Plaxall Gallery), and more problems with form (The Chocolate Factory).

 

Katherine was born in Toronto, Ontario. She has been performing as long as she can remember, but found acting at age 7, when she was cast as a mouse-thief in her second grade play. Since then, she has performed in musicals, contemporary plays, Shakespeare plays, student films, and adaptations of Greek comedies.

Katherine moved to New York City in 2015 for college and there found media design. She started designing sound in 2016 and expanded later that year to projections and media. Since then she has worked on experimental theatre, solo shows, interactive video installations, and more. Moving back to Toronto in 2020, she has focussed on creating new work and developing her fluency in new softwares.
